Two Comic Book Mom readers were spot on when they picked Channing Tatum as the 2012 PEOPLE Magazine Sexiest Man Alive. Indeed, he made the cover and captured our hearts proving the very thing I keep telling my sons- women adore men who can dance.
Or it could be the lure of 21 Jump Street, but I'm betting it's more like the mesmerizing green eyes and magic moves. Tatum also gets props from us for his character action as "Duke" in G.I. Joe.
Comic Book Mom readers weighed in with overwhelming support for Hugh Jackman (aka Wolverine) followed closely by Johnny Depp (who notably hasn't played a superhero role, but certainly has captured the corner market on quirky heroic characters we love.)
Chris Hemsworth led the Avengers pack (and yes, he had my vote, too. Best. Thor. Ever. Enough said,) and my favorite of honorable mentions goes to Bob the Builder because hey, who doesn't love a man who can fix anything?
As much as I enjoyed flipping through the pages of eye-popping candy, like two of my favorite supers who made the grade...
I also enjoyed reading some of the personal articles like Lauren Scruggs recovery and comeback after her terrifying accident (very inspiring!)
And I'm a total sucker for all the fashion coverage and the Style Watch section. Likely because when your fashion savvy is limited to "how to pick out a super cool Star Wars tshirt," you soak up the fancier stuff when you can get a glimpse...

Tatum is cute but I am a Chris Hemsworth fan. Thor is pretty hunky.

ReplyDeleteOMG... Channing Tatum is too cute.. he sure is a hotty... I do enjoy reading people's magazine; I read it at the office and on my iPad, almost weekly. Love that they also have stories from "normal" people and not just celebs; gives it a great balance.
