Hot Toys for 2012: Darth Maul Lightsaber Room Light #StarWars

Uncle Milton toys are all crazy-cool, but my favorites (not surprisingly) are the Star Wars Science Line Products.  An entire line devoted to Star Wars awesomeness, yep, I'm all over that!

While I knew the Uncle Milton Star Wars Science line included some clever gadgets like the R2D2 Microviewer and the Jedi Telescope, I had no idea there was also a series of lightsaber room lights including the most excellent Star Wars Science Darth Maul Lightsaber Room Light.

The Star Wars Science Darth Maul Lightsaber Room Light gives you a glimpse into the powers of the Sith as you construct your own double bladed lightsaber. And when you are finished, simply mount the lightsaber room light to your wall horizontally or vertically to suit the spot you wish to illuminate.

The toughest decision you may face when purchasing this item is whether to keep it or gift it.  Don't you think it would look great hanging over your King-size bed?  I do!

When I ordered, I wasn't certain whether it would be more toy-like or more sophisticated decor-like.  Turns out, it's a bit of both.  The detail is highly sophisticated, the over-all components and light effects are wicked-cool play features.  Overall, it has a sturdy design I'm confident will hold up in my sons bedroom (where occasional rough-housing has been known to occur.)

So, there's the thing, I've totally got my sons' room covered with this goodie... now my biggest dilemma is how to break it to my husband that we need one a lightsaber light for every room in our house...
