Hanging Out With My Hollywood Peeps

I could spend time chatting up interesting tidbits like the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge is the only wax museum with space devoted solely to celebrity figures.

No sacrifice, no victory... Mega-what?
Or that the two story building is chock full of fan-giddy-worthy replicas that you'll swoon over.

Or that the amazing likenesses offer the effect that you are truly in the presence of Hollywood greatness.

I could go on and on about that, but I think the real attraction is in the pictures.  The oodles of opportunities you have to make memory magic on film... or err, smart phone.

While taking a tour of the building is a must on your next trip to the Smokies, the Hollywood Wax Museum website is a cool stop, too, offering step-by-step insights into the making of a wax figure and a glimpse of the glamour inside.

My only hang-ups with the amazingly nerdy and fun adventure were:

1) I'm a big overgrown kid when it comes to comic book and film culture so I get funny looks sometimes gushing over my happiness to see characters like Hellboy and Indiana Jones in wax form.

Cut to the end, will ya? How do we  kill it?

2) They had those "other" sci-fi figures spotlighted during my visit, so I have to go back when the force is more present.

    1. Hi Courtney! The wax gal in the first pic is Megan Fox, in her Mikaela Banes role from Transformers. She certainly does have a bit of Jennifer Garner "look" to her - could be the camera angle?
