Waiting is the Hardest Part ` #Avengers Sequel Announced

Avengers fans it's time to give a big "squee!"  The Walt Disney Studios has announced a release date for Marvel Studios’ sequel to the biggest Super Hero blockbuster and third highest grossing film of all time...

Joss Whedon returns to write and direct the UNTITLED MARVEL’S AVENGERS SEQUEL set for release May 1, 2015.

Gimme a "woot!" err.... um, a little delayed "woot" at least.  Two plus years?  Oh, the agony!

However, don't despair, there are plenty of goodies going on in the interim to satisfy our Marvel superhero fix.  Iron Man 3 is slated to appear May 2013. Thor 2 will hammer the screens in November 2013.  Cap will be back in Captain America 2, April 2014, and the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy will keep us entertained in August 2014.

I'd love to see a new Hulk movie in the mix, too, and a Black Widow- Hawkeye adventure, but no word on the movie block about plans for either.

    I'm surprise to see a sequel being announced so soon after the first. I know a lot of fans that will be excited about this.
