Originally broadcast as seven episodes that spanned the first two seasons of the Emmy Award-winning series, One Shall Stand is now presented on DVD as an uninterrupted movie... and one word sums it up "SPECTACULAR!"
It goes without saying almost that my sons were captivated by this film, and so was I! Not surprising that this series is an award-winning composition. The art, the storyline, the vocals- everything is seamlessly put together in a highly entertaining film. Each episode transitions so well that there is no interruption in sequence, flowing together nicely as a full-length movie.
The back-story presented is engaging and plausible, the action is exciting and the story line intriguing. Transformers Prime- One Shall Stand highlights the compelling story of the most iconic and famous Autobot, Optimus Prime in an epic tale of deception, sacrifice, loyalty and triumph.
My sons and I both agree that the movie is on par with the high-budget films, keeping our attention just as well, and adding so much to our understanding and appreciation of Optimus Prime's journey from average Autobot to incredible Prime.
Overall, we highly recommend addingTransformers Prime - One Shall Stand to your must-see list! Even if you've followed the cartoon series on television, seeing the series as an uninterrupted film will truly enrich your viewing experience, and of course, keep the Autobots close at hand to enjoy any time.
The One Shall Stand DVD also contains a treasure of bonus content including A Look Back At One Shall Stand with Jeff Kline, Duane Capizzi and Steven Melching and Animatics, both entertaining and incredibly informative. When you appreciate a film, it's always a treat to have additional insights.

Produced by Hasbro Studios, One Shall Stand highlights the story that spanned the first two seasons of the acclaimed CGI animated series TRANSFORMERS PRIME, which currently airs on The Hub television network in the U.S and Teletoons in Canada. The DVD is available on Amazon.comDisclosure: Comic Book Mom received a preview copy of this film for review purposes. But here's the thing, if we didn't find it to be superior entertainment, it wouldn't be featured here. Enjoy... and thank us later :)

I have heard of Transformers prime but haven't seen any of the shows. I'll have to put it on my "to watch list."
