Organize Your Collections and Comic Books with the Boxes App #comicbook
You carefully catalog and store your collectibles and comics in your home and now you can create a virtual "box" inventory on your phone, too. If you've ever been stuck at the flea market wondering if it was the Italian version of Hoth Han Solo that you were missing from your collection or left scratching your head if you were missing Issue #114 or #115 of Superman (Vol. 2,) then Boxes may be the solution you've been waiting for.

Boxes is the first mobile app the combines digital tools for organizing and keeping track of physical stuff with social networking and eCommerce. It allows users to consolidate and track collectibles, like comic books and trading cards, into a concise, visual catalog with each and every item. The app also creates a social community for users with similar interests and people with the same hobbies.

Over the past year, Boxes has become a hub for collectors, fashion enthusiasts, artists and museums that never had place to organize and present their possessions, connect with people who share their passion and buy or sell goods.

Today the Boxes community features over $75 million worth of stuff, ranging from $600,000+ watches and priceless film set memorabilia to designer clothing collections and craft jewelry. Founded in January 2012, Boxes is the brainchild of CEO and founder Solomon Engel and Art Director and co-founder Aaron Anderson, who recognized a gaping hole at the intersection of organizational apps, online marketplaces and social networks.

There were no user-friendly mobile apps that helped people organize and keep track of goods, and marketplaces like eBay and Etsy limited people to only posting goods they planned to sell. People could not, for instance, use such marketplaces to organize their stuff or meet people with similar interests. Marketplaces simply couldn’t support authentic social experiences outside the buyer-seller dynamic.
