Disneyland Hall of Armor "Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries"

Last month, my sons had a blast at Disneyland's Hall of Armor where they were able to meet Captain America, Thor and have some very cool hands-on experiences including the Iron Man Tech station where kids have the chance to virtually "suit up."

The Marvel experience is getting even bigger and cooler in a new location with the launch of Discovery Times Square's newest exhibition: Marvel's Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (Scientific Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network) opening at Discovery Times Square in New York City on May 30, 2014.

According to our source, Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (Scientific Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network) is a completely immersive, interactive exhibit experience that brings visitors into the world of The Avengers. Leading EdTech innovator Gamedesk created S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) based educational pathways for the exhibition, bringing to life the science behind Marvel Super Heroes and allows fans to participate in a simulated recruitment, as if they were being trained as agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Marvel’s Avengers: S.T.A.T.I.O.N.

Visitors of all ages are exclusively recruited to join S.H.I.E.L.D. and enter the official S.T.A.T.I.O.N. headquarters. Exhibition-goers are then taken deep into the Marvel Cinematic Universe where they will experience first-hand the vast array of intelligence files, classified studies, and experiments that explores the history and scientific origins of Marvel’s The Avengers including Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, Thor, and others.

NASA, the Science & Entertainment Exchange program of the National Academy of Sciences, Neuroverse, and Thwacke are all collaborating on Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. Exhibition visitors will map out the stars to find Asgard, learn to operate Iron Man’s suit, witness the neurological effects of Bruce Banner’s transformation into the Hulk, and physically test themselves against Captain America.

Head out this week to Discovery Times Square as it will be transformed into the Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. on May 30, 2014.
