Finding Gossamyr: Volume 1 is a great blend of fantasy and sci-fi packaged in a beautifully illustrated graphic novel. (In fact, you could easily spend as much time admiring the artwork as you do enjoying the clever story.) 

I found the characters in Finding Gossamyr have a surprising level of depth for a young adult graphic novel and the plot is fast-paced and intriguing, making this a great read for both children and adults.  Boys and girls will equally enjoy reading this interesting comic and may even develop a new appreciation for math (a terrific reason to grab a copy!)
