The Garfield Show: Spring Fun Collection

Young or old, it's difficult not to be bemused by an irreverent, quick-witted, lasagna-loving cat who hates Mondays.  A blast from the past that my sons now enjoy, our quirky, beloved pal Garfield always elicits laughter from our crew.

This spring, the zany kitty is has a new series of adventures in The Garfield Show: Spring Fun Collection (available 2/19.)

Fans will love watching as Garfield almost gets thrown out of the house when Jon becomes allergic to cats, giggle when the infamous cat joins in the daily raising of his farm animal pals, roar with laughter when he evades the dogcatcher. Each new episode is purr-fectly filled with clever antics peppered with gut-busting sarcasm.

The appeal of Garfield and his friends is fairly universal.  My 10 and 12-year-old sons are big fans and after viewing the spring episodes, immediately questioned when the summer ones would be out.... which is pretty much the highest stamp of approval from the pre-teen set.

For me... I think sometimes, you just need a good laugh, you know, the kind that comes from the belly and bubbles up in torrents... and it's really nice to know that Garfield continues to deliver!
