I love libraries. I love the Avengers. (right, kind of a "duh" if you read Comic Book Mom regularly... but for those who don't I must express the love.)
So, when the Orlando Library asked me to let readers know that the author of Avengers: The Art of the Avengers will be stopping by for the Downtown Library on Saturday, January 5, at 4 p.m. for a very cool program.
If you are in the area - go! Because if I were closer, I would certainly go and I'd love to hear all about it (so be sure to drop back by with commentary and pics!)
Deets: Author Jason Surrell will take readers behind the scenes of one of the most eagerly anticipated films of all time in Avengers: the Art of the Avengers. This keepsake volume is an experiential journey through the entire film from beginning to end - featuring stunning concept art; full-color photographs from the set, as well as the finished film; excerpts from the script; and exclusive interviews with the cast and crew, including writer/director Joss Whedon, producer Kevin Feige and, of course, the Avengers themselves.
Avengers Assemble! Book sale and author signing to follow the program
They actually have a week long Avengers thingy going on, so be sure to check out all the other fun activities, too at: http://www.ocls.info/programs/articles/newsletter/13january/superheroes.asp
