Double Your Donation Efforts with One Simple Step

Be A Joy Maker
Right now, we're gearing up for the ComicBookMom.org Annual Toy Run for the Appalachias and naturally, I involve my little superheroes every step of the way.  Not only it ideal for them to volunteer their time for a good cause, it's a great eye-opener for them, a fabulous family activity, and a healthy way to teach them about the power of sharing with those in need.

This year, my sons will learn the power of giving amplified.  GenerationOn, the youth enterprise of Points of Light, in partnership with Hasbro is presenting all young people with the opportunity to Be a Joy Maker this holiday season.  From now through December 18, for each act of service share by a young person during the holidays, Hasbro will donate one toy to Toys for Tots - up to 100,000 toys!

To be a Joy Maker, all you need to do is share your service story at www.generationOn.org

We've already submitted our project (it's uber easy to do!) and you can bet I'll be encouraging my superheroes to share their story.  I hope that you will, too!  The more kids and teens who volunteer the more toys and games Hasbro will donate to those in need during the holidays...

And that my comic book friends, is something to be super joyful about!
