Intrigued, we welcomed them in. Mainly because they are cuddly and cute, these seemingly non-pretentious and quite precocious little buggers. Contrary behavior for microbes you'd rather escape from, or err... avoid entirely all together.
And that's where they get ya. All that adorableness simply sucks you in.
All that Halloween flair, the masks and witches hats, snooker you into believing you can tag Black Death along on your backpack and fling Ebola at your brother, without realizing those sneaky little microbes are worming their way into your lives like the toxic-little-love-glue they are.
Beware my dear Comic Book Mom friends, for when Mini Microbes attack you may see the most shocking moments in your children's lives that you've ever caught on tape. Untamed and uncut visions of Flesh Eating Bateria being hugged, shared with friends at school, invited to breakfast on Saturday morning, and carefully tucked under the blankie at night.
