Paint The #Frankenweenie on the Pumpkin

I purchased a bunch of pumpkins to decorate and received some very cool templates from the Disney folks inspired by Frankenweenie.  Figured I'd sit down and put together a quick demo on how easy it is to use Painters Pens to create cool pumpkin effects, rather than carving (as I'm using pumpkin pie pumpkins to gift, along with instructions on how to bake- cutting into them and carving is no go.)

Well, I finished my Sparky outline to photograph.  Not too shabby.  The Disney templates are awesome (as expected.)

Then my youngest son came home from school and asked if he could paint a pumpkin, too.  Absolutely.  I gave him the Painters Pens and went to fix supper.  A few minutes later, I get a tap on the shoulder and turn around to see this bundle of awesomeness:

Yep, not surprisingly, he totally kicked my Frankenweenie pumpkin butt.

Go on and get ya some Frankenweenie pumpkin style inspiration for your Halloween, too, with these fab printable templates:

And if you haven't seen Frankenweenie in the the theater, yet, do!  It's hands-down a terrific film!  (Go figure, it's Tim Burton. Yep, enough said.)
