Easy as Pi

Numbers are not my "thing"... which is why Easy as Pi: The Countless Ways We Use Numbers Every Day appealed to me right away.  Sort of reverse pych there, since I'm not very good with numbers, I'll read a numbers book and be more at peace with my divisible friends, right?

Well, lucky me that I took the road less traveled here, because Easy as Pi is, verily, a fascinating read!

Easy as Pi is not only for the numbers buff, this curious book is chock full of history, interesting facts, trivia, number games, and even some pretty cool tricks that are easy to master, making even the most serious case of a number challenged peep capable of appearing to be a math whiz. 

And let us not forget the importance of Pi in all this.  Yes, Pi is covered in detail... and I dare say, is quite a bit more interesting when you get to know Pi. 

Numbers are still not Easy as Pi to me, but I appreciate them a whole lot more after enjoying this fabulous read, and sharing my new Pi knowledge with family and friends, who may not consider me a reformed numbers challenged individual, but at least they appreciate my lively numbers conversations.

Or so I like to think.

Anyhow, this is a cool book and well worth the read!
