Are You Up for the Superhero Fitness Challenge?

My Comic Book Boys took the mini-Superhero Fitness Challenge at C2E2 and both came out winners, not just for completing the challenge with superhero style, but because of the health and fitness values this fun activity instilled.  The challenge coaches took the time to instruct proper technique and encourage the participants through each activity (and the activities really were a challenge!)


The Super Hero Fitness Challenge mission is to help fellow geeks learn to love fitness and change their health and bodies to the superheroes that they want to be! The idea for the Superhero Fitness Challenge came from creator, Melanie Bolen, who wanted to find a way to share fitness with more people like her. Along with a group of awesome fellow fitness coaches, they strive to educate people about fitness, inspire them to get moving, and help them reach their superhero goals.

Personally, I think this team kicks some serious booty and I love how they are integrating their passion for health and fitness into their love of comic book culture.

  7. I love seeing how health and fitness inspires our little ones. My little girl (5) loves to work out next to me when I do and then at times she will on her own grab my (smallest) dumbbells and does lunges.
