Angry Birds on television?

They've invaded space and now they will be invading your personal space via the newly announced Angry Birds animated television series.

Anger and mayhem abound in planned 52-episode shorts featuring Rovio's fluffy feathered friends catapulting into, where else, space.

These round little Aves may just take over the world next...

Maybe not, but we have heard rumors of a theme park.  Stay tuned.
